Inexpensive Indian food including a $3 dollar butter chicken deal. Also has a pizza oven and serves pizza by the slice.
After months of working right across the street, I finally tried Curry Point. The ambiance is not much to look at inside, its more of a takeout joint. There are pop cans stacked on one side of the room, shabby decor, door open and freezing cold inside, etc. But you don't come to places like this for the ambiance and at least it looked clean.
According to the sign outside, they have the best pizza in town. I generally find these signs to be *extremely reliable* but I decided to try the curry instead since the place is actually called Curry Point. They have a butter chicken special for 3 dollars which is ridiculously cheap. I went for the 3 curries for 7 dollar deal which gives you the choice from about 6 or 7. They were all decent, nothing to complain about but definitely no standouts. It was a good, cheap, filling lunch eaten with my jacket on.
I might return if I am in the mood for very reasonably priced, mediocre Indian food.
