A cafe serving espresso coffee, savoury & sweet crepes, paninis, croissants or bagel sandwiches, etc.
Crepe & Café has very limited operating hours – not suitable for desert only dining or a late snack. But there crepes are so good I can’t imagine going anywhere else, and I’m always disappointed if I do.
With regards to their coffee, I’ve been too conditioned by a certain franchise to appreciate much else, so I won’t comment. Their tea however is disappointing, both in selection and preparation. Tea should not be made with water from an espresso machine, which is too hot and ruins the tea. For this reason I’ve given them 3 instead of 4 stars for food.
I’ve marked them down for service as the husband and wife team are often focused on the crepes and espresso machine; constantly leaving customers waiting to place orders.
As for ambiance, while there is space and seating, it doesn’t feel warm and cozy but cool and hasty.
