Taiwanese style cafe serving bubble tea, snacks and rice/noodle combos.
The food is good. I liked it, and wanted to go back so bad. The food somehow seemed addicting. I suggest their special dish. It's VERY good.
Corner 23 moved here from Taiwan. It started in 1948 which, they did a good job moving it here i should say.
The service was ok. We had to wait a bit for the food but the service was good. The waiter/waitress were both nice and polite.
I definitely would wanna go back again!
My wife and I go to Corner23 at least once a week, it's practically our second kitchen. The staff knows us now and can even order our food, they're pretty friendly even though there are a few servers here and there who don't speak English very well which is fine for my wife but sometimes I have to point at things.
The food is really good, my wife says it is very authentic Taiwanese cuisine and she loves it there and I really like whatever I have too. Also the drinks (or bubble-tea) are really good, the fresh fruit ones are really delicious and better than the fruit smoothies you would get at North American establishments like Jugo Juice or Orange Julius, etc.
The only bad thing about Corner 23 is parking, but that will be better once the Cambie construction is done. This place is BUSY on weekends and even weeknights, be prepared for a 15-20 minute wait for a larger table!
