I'm a constant customer in Yaletown diners, and my husband and I decided on a date night on Chinois.
Upon walking in, the place was decorated with effort and class. Made more an elegant feel to a meal.
The food was good, but did not have a 'wow' factor. I would go back, I believe this place has potential.
Just a quick one. The restaurant is modern and classy, and the service is fine. The problem is the food. It doesn't look like a Chinese restaurant, so I was not expecting it to be authentic, but expect it to be tasty and well-executed. Unfortunately, neither tasty nor authentic - what a disappointment. Value is certainly poor when the food is not good, the dishes are small, and the price is high.
