A Place To Meet
Extremely disappointing, seems like they missed their mark by a long shot. Walking in the door into an environment that seemed professional yet demanding phone number and email at the door? Nice atmosphere, comfortable and a little ethnic yet I couldn't tell you what country they were trying to emulate. Members club atmosphere with different prices for people who were not members and yet the food seemed almost microwaved. Soup was mediocre at best, main was ok yet for a set menu it didn't fit with the vibe or ethnic background they seemed to be portraying (Thai?) and the dessert was horrible given the way the atmosphere is presented. Service however was good and very friendly, however if they are trying to be a chic members club, then it's a very large fail.
Campoverde is a members only club and so you need to be a member or be a guest of a member to get in. My friend is a member. I went for the Satuday Supper Club which was wonderful. The night I went there was twenty people there all around one huge table. I went with my friend but we were moved around between courses so that we would be forced to mingle - it is a social club. Overall great experience and wonderful people.
