Well I didn't come here for their noodle soup, as mentioned by the previous reviewer and other word of mouth. Instead, I got a Vietnamese sub as I was craving one. It seemed there was only one choice, but it definitely came deluxe, with cold cuts and bbq pork nestled in between a toasted, crusty bread. The pickled veggies were a touch bland on the zing but all in all, a tasty sub for $3.50.
Service is pretty typical for a Vietnamese joint, not much in the visual emotion, but they seem friendly enough.
I felt a little awkward coming in as the dining patrons and restaurant on the whole were fairly quiet. I could assume that diners eating quietly means good food. I concur.
Worth coming back.
This small vietnamese place on KIngsway is hands down has the best Bun Bo Hue in Vancouver. Do not order anything else, this best is known for their spicy beef noodle, everything else is just mediocre. I will definitely come back for more spicy beef noodles. It is by far way better than song huong. I urge you to check it out!
