The Bimini serves 24 craft beers on draft, creative cocktails and modern pub fare from interesting seasonal menus using only organic, locally sourced products.
Bimini's 2.0 is making an effort on West 4th in Kitsilano, with some good food and drink specials Sun-Wed evenings, and multiple large-screen TVs that give the otherwise dimly lit main (middle) floor room a definite sports bar vibe.
Downstairs near the entrance is a small games room area, while upstairs there are more intimate dining tables and a satellite bar.
Some great inexpensive food options (Sun: daily seafood catch in summer, prime rib in winter, Tue: solid burger and beer $11, Wed: tasty chicken wings with various possible beer specials; both very inexpensive).
Service is variable but friendly and well-meaning enough.
Recommend avoiding Bimini's Thur-Sat as it becomes overrun by a Granville Street-type crowd.
