SUB favorite

As a UBC favorite, I freaking love this place! Bagel sandwiches are full of veggies and protein and the whole meal is satisfying and healthy. I absolutely love dropping by the SUB for a bagel. They have fresh squeezed juices and yogurt/granola as well. I get the smoked turkey/monterrey jack cheese bagel on the japaleno bagel (there are so many different freshly baked bagels to try from, thats part of the fun). The service is pretty solid and they make the sandwiches pretty fast so its great for on the go.

Time to give Bernoulli's a rating!

As a UBC student I spend almost every break waiting in the atrocious lineups at the SUB (Student Union Building). Bernoulli's has always been one of my favorites though because their bagels are all baked fresh on a daily basis and are sooo tasty! I usually get a plain bagel with plain cream cheese (adventurous I know) and it's always LOADED with Philadelphia's (they only use this good brand) cream cheese - sometimes I ask for less cream cheese because it often covers 3/4th of my bagel!

During the lunch rush service is really painfully slow, probably because it takes a while to make the orders. However, this one time I was waiting a while on the side for my delicious usual Turkey BLT on Garlic and Oil (they just call out the order) and it never came because apparently they called it and some theft had swiped it before I knew what happened. Not cool. Also, don't get their 4-cheese with tomato and basil special, it sounds nice but there is no such thing as basil there - they just use green onions, and the cheese is just overloaded.

They have risen the price of their bagels over the last few years but that seems to be the ongoing trend with every food & beverage place nowadays.
