Bayside Lounge is located in the Best Western Sands by the Sea on Davie Street and serves a large variety of dishes to suit all tastes as well as a wide variety of cocktails and beer on tap. Bayside also offers a weekly fresh sheet.
I'm not sure why this little gem isn't more popular but I think it is one of the best lounges in Vancouver. First thing is the spectacular view of English Bay. A huge round window showcases the ocean and palm trees. The seating is plush and comfortable. Our waitress was quick to take our order and get out drinks fast. They were pretty cheap as they had several specials, We were there on a Thursday which is half price appy night. We ordered a whole smorgesborg of items. Smoked salmon on pumpernickle w/capers, garlic prawns, crab cakes and baked brie. With all the specials our bill was under $40. One of my TOP PICKS!
