Basil Pasta Bar offers up a wide variety of pasta dishes to choose from as well as allows you to create your own dish from a large selection of pastas, sauces and toppings.
The pasta here is decently well also the salads.
The prices are very good and the service is great as it is fast.
Definetly having my weekly pasta there.
I like to seat there and eat ravioli four chesse and a ceaser salad.
the only thing i dont like about this place is that they dont offer you bread.
pasta without bread is like living without hands.
The Basil Pasta Bar is a small cafe on Davie in Vancouver's vibrant Yaletown neighborhood. I had a simple green salad with goat cheese and a Gnocchi dish with bolognese. They use fresh ingredients, it was well executed, terrific presentation, and best of all my meal with a salad and a drink was $15. One of the best values I've seen in any type of cuisine. It is a relaxed atmosphere with pay at the counter before and seat yourself policies. Its a must go if you are in the area, I loved it.
I JUST LOVE THIS PLACE! My buddy and I have been going to this little gem on Davie since the day it opened. EVERY TIME we order the pasta is just delicious. It is fresh made, lots of choices and for under $10. One of the best food deals in Vancouver. The Shrimp Pesto Linguini is excellent, as are the salads. Fast, friendly service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
