Located in Harbour Center, Bali Thai features quick serve South East Asian cuisine.
When I first saw this place called Bali Thai in the food court at Harbour Centre, I was a little perplexed by the name. I've never been to Bali but I have been to Thailand a few times so I have a good idea what the latter's food should taste like and authentic wouldn't be the word I used for Bali Thai. Turns out though the food is pretty good, especially when you consider the location. The combo plates are a pretty good deal; I usually get the mee goreng with beef rendeng, satay and a spinach dish although they usually don't have the last one much any more. The service is really friendly and fast. Bali Thai is probably the best option in the food court when you consider quality of food and value.
With the exception of the sambal (which is decently spiced and very Balinese) there's not a lot of authentic Balinese food, but that shouldn't detract from the experience. Food is tasty, lots of options and the people that run it are really decent. Definitely worth being part of the lunch rotation, very reliable for a good meal.
