More like a meat stew instead of a meat pie

I've bought pies each chance that I see the truck.
Over the past four or five years I've tried all but the salmon pie.
I skip the Skippy roo pie now.
I don't see another reason to buy a veggies pie again if they have any type of beef pie.
And the coast pie...June 2017 was the Aussie pie. But it was more of an Aussie stew in a paper bag.
I don't know what's happening to his product.. Maybe because it's gluten free..Maybe they were from the day before and heated fsrcto long over and over again. Maybe they were frozen at one time.
But after one bite...All the contents ozzed out of the top sides this collapsing the pie into a stew. I ended up with a bag full of gravy.
The price has not gone up..So like happens a lot.. The quality goes down.
Worse yet...When I confronted him.. He asked me if I enjoyed it.. No..No I didn't..And I didn't like his dismissive attitude. I hate feeling like I've been screwed over.

About the best savory pie I've ever had

I heard about the Aussie Pie Guy truck and gave it a try when the truck was in my area. I was planning to order the veggie pie but changed my mind at the last minute and ordered the salmon pie. $8 for all pies. Wow! Incredible pie with all kinds of veggies in there, light flaky pastry, taste sensation for sure! Loved it. Was it $8 good? Subjective, but I'd definitely get another one.

Skip the sweetie pie. Advertised as a custard and apple pie, they had mini pies available for $4 so I bought one. Not good. No custard. Rest of it was just so so. Rip off at $4 for what you get, and definitely not as advertised. Go anywhere else and buy an apple fritter donut, it'll be better value and better taste.

Main course wonderful, dessert huge let down.

Pie by hand? Yes!

I'm not much of a pie person, especially when it comes to eating it by hand. I mean, a pie without a fork or a spoon, and from a food truck?? Go figure! This Australian food truck was all that I needed. Now, I've never been to Australia but this pie is sure good. Discovered it a while back and now it's my staple sweet indulgence every week or so. $8 might be a bit much for the pie, but on the flip side, if you consider all the qualities it has (healthy, well-made with fresh and organic ingredients), it's alright. Lots of ingredients to choose from, but my personal favourite is shane's pie.
