I've gone to Athens twice now to order take-out. The menu is great and the food was served quickly. This is a pizza joint with some good Greek food.
I ordered the gyro and salad and I can say this is up there regarding bang for your buck on Main street. The gyro was typical with all the usual toppings and my only minor complaint would be the overwhelming garlic taste left in your mouth from the tzatziki. The Greek salad was amazing and perhaps one of the best ones I've had in awhile.
I'm not sure if this place was a restaurant back in the day but now it just felt like my Grandma's dining room. They have old battered up tables with some off-putting white wall paper and a giant menu that looks like it hadn't been changed from the 70s. If this is just a waiting area then cool but I would never have a serious sit-down meal here. I wouldn't know if it was a fast-food McDees atmosphere or a nicer diner where you tip the waiter.
