All Indian offers a buffet and assortment of Indian sweets.
This is kinda typical cheap Indian restaurant. It's better to order from the menu! The "all you can eat" buffet is not up to the mark. I came across blackened nans that are sometimes quite hard. The worst item on the menu is the masala dosa (Potato filled crepe) It's supposed to be thin but is made is like a tandoori nan and is often overcooked.
The ambiance is quite depressing with all those bright lights & dance videos instead of soft lighting and music. Avoid the samosas and sweets. For samosas I would recommend Curry Point at UBC or Brdwy & Cambie. They have actually got some "taste". Overall it's a downmarket Indian restaurant.
A low scale restaurant if you want cheap and down level quality and fast food. Good for those who are not able to afford a decent and upscale East Indian restaurant and food. Remember you always get what you pay for. Poor service if you order from menu. Takes a very long for a waiter to come and ask you and then the delivery to your table takes another long while. It seems they encourage to eat only from buffet, because its low maintenance and more profit for them.
As a buffet, good service isn't exactly essental. They forgot our drinks, but were very nice and apologetic about it.
The food is yummy, the mango milkshakes are small, but delicious (try dipping the nann bread in them!)
All and all, we've been several times and it has consistantly been delicious.
Their price has steadily been going up, however, putting them dangerously close to out of the AYCE cost bracket.
I give them a 1 in ambiance simply because it feels like any other cafe.
