I went to Aisha Tandoori restaurant to celebrate with my mother and daughter something very important. I asked the waiter if the meat is Halal and he confirmed that it is Halal (later on I found from a friend the contrary). anyhow the cleanness in the restaurant is questionable, the waiter is rarely available to serve the customers. we ordered chicken and lamb and some appetizers. the appetizers were stall like if they are there for ages. the amount of food is so little. I ordered lamb because my body can not consume fat I found no meet in the plate except black sauce with three pieces of fat which where awful. the chicken was cut in very small pieces this was the first time to see this (all together there was less than drumstick in the plate). we ordered salad but did not have it. the bread was almost burned. We felt that we served a left over food. we left the restaurant we felt nauseated, my mother could not sleep because of the nausea and I sent one day in bed because of the stomach flue.
please do not go there
I went here for lunch and ordered the Veg Thali, which consisted of pakora, rice, nan, dhal, popadam, raita, potato and cauliflower curry, and rice pudding. Well, the pakora (which there was one of) and the potato curry were both dried out, like they'd been made hours ago and had been sitting around. The dahl was nice but there was so little of it - not enough to balance out the carb overload of all that bread, rice, and potato (and considering dhal costs next to nothing to make, I found this really disappointing). The rice pudding was all liquid.
Service was lacklustre - I had to go find the waiter when I wanted to leave. I definitely do not recommend this place.
Ignore the ambiance rating since we got delivery. We ordered really late and so the "driver" had a hard time finding our place. I was amused when this sweet lady showed up with our food ... she definitely did not look or dress like a delivery driver. It was the owner. I think any restaurant where the owner is willing to step up to the plate gets my vote. She was very refined and I was very thankful to have my food. She even gave me a beautiful pen. Oh ... and the food was excellent. We ordered Tandoori chicken and Mutter Paneer. Top marks and I can be really picky :-)
