I went to the one near scarborough town centre twice and i found it to be pretty good. The food was great, the price was pretty good, and the service was pretty good as well. However, it was pretty loud at times, but other than that, there were billiards to play, a lot of tv screens to watch and i found my experience there to be quite enjoyable. If you are willing to pay around 10 dollars for a burger meal combo, then I recommend you to at least try Jack Astor's once.
Food is nice fresh and tasty. May be a little delay in service. otherwise excellent diner menu and enviornment. I found taste of delhi abroad. Will go there soon. You should go there and enjoy really tasty food and a wonderful experience. do not forgetttotaste there fish and tikka kababs. Nans are good too.
Looks like it is new place opened up. Seems like a bar before converted into restaurant. Small Cozzy place family business. Owner himself is experienced Indo/Pak Chef. I went there with my wife and kids. I asked for Tandoori dishes such as tandoori chicken and naan. It was not ready made but were prepaired as we waited. I asked for less spices on chicken Leg pieces as my children won't eat too much spicy food. Side dishes we ordered were Dal Chana, Chicken Biryani, and Goat Curry. All food tasted wonderful as it seemed marinated in right spices and cooked to perfection. My entire family enjoyed the dinner as should. Price was great too. I would say you can eat a big dinner in $10-$15 per person.
Owner/cook came to our table and introduced himself and offer tea for the entire family and that was on the house as we were there first time. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who would like to try true taste of Lahore, Pakistan. A+++++
Every Saturday I wake up and go for my run. That happens usually at around 8 oclock. Then I wait. I wait until I am able to go at the stroke of 11 with my girlfriend to have the best pho I have ever had. I have been to Vietnam and this place is so good I would choose it over the excellent pho you can get almost anywhere in Vietnam. I always get (without asking because they know us) extra Mint leaves and lime wedges as well as the Satay hot sauce. Their house special is incedible. They ambience is very upscale compared to your usual Pho place. This is a nice restaurant. I have tried other dishes and frankly I am desperate to try others but to date I have only tried one other dish which was a spicy seafood soup. It was excellent but I am addicted to their Pho. I am planning on going out for dinner soon to try 4 or 5 dishes with friends, i am sure I will not be dissapointed.
I went to bardi's last week and I had a realy great time, their were nice people, the food was over the top, that was the best food I have ever had,but the price should go down a little, the ambiance is very nice incredible.Over all I recomend Bardi's for when you want a fun time and a great meal. I
My experience at bardis was tremendous.I had the pleasure of being waited on by Chris.s&Tom they were so nice had smiles on there face and were very fast. The food was exellent I can not wait to go back.By the way I think Chris.s,Tom are the best part of the experience at Bardi's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I stopped in to get a few take out rolls. I've been a semi-regular customer for about 3 years. The rolls are OK - just OK, but what you'd expect from a chain store - the McDonald's of sushi.
I looked at the menu outside the door and went to the register knowing what I wanted.
First, she rang in one of the items incorrectly. No big deal. But when she fixed it, there was a price discrepancy. When I told her the price was different, she argued and told me I was wrong. I had to ask her to come to the door and show her that she was wrong.
Astonishingly, she then told me that she would still charge the higher price, and that they would have to change their posted menu.
I suggested that any restaurant would honour a posted price and asked her if she wanted to lose a regular customer over such a small thing.
She continued to be rude, so I told her and all of the staff within earshot that I would never come in again.
Call me picky, but it's not the money - I'm just so disgusted by the poor service in this city. I'll stay away on principle. There are other sushi restaurants in the neighborhood.
I've been there a few times, and I never get tired of going there. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were more than I expected. The last time I was there I had their Pad Thai, and it was incredible that I'm looking forward to going back and have it again! THANK YOU PHO NHO!
I have seen Rajdhani is in the business at least since last 10 years and consistently providing excellent food.

Overall Don't miss to visit this place if you are in Central Etobicoke @ Islington & Ablion area.
Please consider below points before visiting Madras Dosa Hut.
- Typical Chila Chalu Desi Ambiance
- Server/Waiter has BO
- Server/Waiter dresses are dirty with stains on it
- Sambhar and different types of chutneys are not very delicious (More showery)
- Dhosa are shaggy not crispy cook
- It doesn't seems like Ingredients are fresh
- Over Price Menu
This restaurant has amazing THAI ambiance. Wonderful arrangements of Furniture and Lighting. Soothing music and great service but food is little below average. I would suggest that It would really be relaxing having few drinks in their little bar place with few spring rolls. I won't suggest to try anything more than their springrolls.
- Fresh, Jucy And Delicous Pizza With Full Of Toppings On It.
- Delicious Cheeze
- Reasonable Prize
- Timely Service
This Place is located between Dense East Indian population so you can have little bit of East Indian food taste (e.g. they provide extra green chilli, ginger and garlic to make your pizza little spicy)
Overall It's Good Pizza Place Atleast Try Once and For Sure You Will Like It And try again.
Enjoyed my friends birth day at fox and fiddle. Wonderful atmoshphere for Karaoke. Service was excellent, prices were very reasonable. All of my friends had a very good time and we will definitely be back at this bar regularly. I had a Pesto Chicken Alfredo pasta... best pasta i`ve had a very long time.
Great Job Fox and Fiddle
My mother and I were at Bayview Village and decided to check out the Bakery Garden Cafe for breakfast. The ambience looked good and I placed my order based on the menu that hung over the counter. We were looking forward to hang out on a leisurely morning to catch up. I ordered an Egg and Cheese Melt, which was shown to be priced at $6.69. My mother ordered an omelette. While the server was preparing our food, he told me that our meal came with a bagel and he asked which we preferred. He offered a sesame bagel but not being too keen on that, I asked if they had a cheese bagel instead. He said yes and I asked again, "Does this come with the meal?" He replied yes. When we were making payment, I asked for water to go with my coffee and the cashier said she needed to charge 75 cents for it. I paid for it. After payment, I asked for my receipt as it was not readily offered. I saw that there was an extra charge of 60 cents for the cheese bagel. Also, I was overcharged for my main item by more than 20%.
All these would not have seemed so bad if not for the terrible attitude shown by the manager, Alem, who didn't seem to care or listen. She made no apology for the overcharge. Because of the "bagel included" and ill communication, I had to pay for something I didn't need. All she said was too bad, you didn't read the signs properly. She pointed out the sign and nowhere on the sign did it say there is an additional charge for that item. She said, you should have checked the prices on the bread baskets. Hello! I was ordering from the menu, I wasn't shopping for bread. She even asked me to go ahead, write this bad review. For sure I will not be stepping in there again.
We went to Mongolian Grill today to celebrate a friend's birthday, but were very disappointed with the food and the service. First, I found a STONE in my food ( in a potato and asparagus appetizer). when we told the waitress about it, she gave us a super lame excuse that they use some kind of pickle (PICKLE?????) in the mashed potatoes, thus the quality of the food cannot be controlled. Really!!!! you charge $22.95 for a plate and cannot control the quality of your food. Are you kidding me!!! and Second, they charged an exorbitant $13.79 for a 4 year old. The child barely touched her plate.
Do yourself a favour and do not waste your money at this restaurant. If you are craving a Chinese buffet, go to Mandarin instead, it costs half the money and well worth the price.
Jodie herself is here in all her smiling, happy, busy way. She took over this restaurant a few years back when the owner passed away. She was working as a waitress then. Now she runs the joint.
Food is basic with an emphasis on quick lunch service at a great price. She serves cold beer, wine, and spirits.
Drop by if you're anywhere nearby and enjoy the value.
Also, guys, sit on the far side of the restaurant from the kitchen entrance and enjoy the view. Our Jodie has the sweetest butt this side of Ireland. She's the real deal- smart, savvy, and sexy. Support the best!

We went for dinner on July 16/10. This was my first time there, as I drive by all the time and I have always been interested in trying it out. From the outside, it looks like a very pleasant place to eat. NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER!
Firstly, we waited about 1/2hr for someone to come by to take our order. We were asked twice if we were ready to order, and both times we said yes, at which time we were told "she is coming to take your order". While reading the menu, it says in there "be patient with your order because everything here is cooked fresh, and could take 45mins to 1 hour. WELL........... the food arrived faster than it took for someone to take the order!
Secondly, I looked at my manicotti, and it looked like soup. Something that you would get from Michalenas frozen food. It wasn't fresh, it was microwaved. The outside of the manicotti was cold, and when I took my 1 and only bite, it was so hot in the middle I almost burnt my tongue. I have never put anything so disgusting in my mouth. I wouldn't even let my dog eat that!
Lastly, when I informed the waitress about the meal, she took it away pissed off. She then came back to me with sarcasm, and said that the reason the pasta is "soggy like soup" (very sarcastly I must add), is because it is fresh pasta. When I replied that my nonna's pasta isn't like that, she said FINE and walked away.
Although they didn't charge me for that meal, they didn't seem to care to please me either. They don't seem to care about customer satisfaction, yet written all over the restaurant says different.
That was my first time there and DEFINATELY MY LAST!!!
I will write reviews everywhere about this place, and never recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!
The menu is huge, offering virtually any sort of Vietnamese cuisine you could imagine. We were suspect given that it is, primarily, a bar and the kitchen seems to be staffed by only one person. Still, we stuck to standard items such as spring rolls, vermicelli soup and a shared beef dish. Food overall was okay. The staff is uninterested in their clientele and more interested in friends drinking at the tiny bar. Competing television sports coverage on two screens and ear splitting music in a small room made us eat quickly and leave. Not recommended for a night out.
I have been here many times and never been disappointed. I usually get the sashimi. Others in the party have been satisfied with the box-thing (I forget the name). Whatever you come for be prepared to wait as the place is popular with university students. Note that they do take reservations if you wish to avoid the lineup.
