My wife and I stopped at this wrap place with the expectation of great and healthy lunch. As we went into the facility, the smell of the delicious food could not mask the ugly and disgusting attitude of the service representatives of this establishment. Once I entered, I give a warm hello to the two customer service representatives. The response was cold and insincere. I felt like two evil birds picking at my wallet and not treating me as a human being. Before I continue with my experience, I believe it is relevant to disclose that we are proud Caribbean Canadians. Getting back to my dehumanizing experience, as I went to grab a banana for purchase, the cashier - whom I think is the owner - said to me, "Do not touch that, just point to it and I will pick it up for you" in a VERY rude and demeaning tone! My partner and I stood in disbelief. Did he actually say that over a banana??? It was a cruel and hurtful experience. We immediately left!
I taught that this service was disgraceful and people should learn from the experience we encountered and second guess before eating at this establishment. It was disgusting and can be interpreted as discriminatory behavior. We are not saying boycott this restaurant, just be aware of the attitude and how many business take for granted the people that are willing to support their business. Do not support or endorse judgmental behaviour in your customer service.
