  • Everything at Woody's Burgers is made fresh in house daily. No processed ingredients are used. In fact, the meat comes from local farm raised cattle and each 7 ounce burger is hand pressed daily. All of the sides and sales are made using seasonal ingredients from local farms. But what makes our Woody's Burgers truly distinctive is the use of wood burning grills. Nothing beats the flavour of foods grilled on a Canadian hardwood burning grill and Woody's customers are loving it!

Great Burger in the Neighborhood

Burger joints are all the rage in Toronto these days, but this one is doing it right. Focusing on a quality burger and great homemade add-ons makes this one of the best burgers I have had in recent times.

They have a number of specialty burgers, or you can go with the classic - a 7 ounce, local, naturally raised beef burger. (They also have chicken and veggie!). It's cooked on a wood fired grill, and then you get to pick from a wide selection of condiments, sauces and add-ons. Put it all together and it's a WOW - Great Burger.

Some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever had as well.

Service is decent, you get your burger efficiently, even when it is busy, which it often is in the evening. Don't expect much hand holding :)

Not a big place, but plenty of seating. The "closeness" of the interior adds to the personality of the place. Nice patio too. Our one complaint was that the patio was close to the garbage bins and on the hot summer day the odor was a bit strong - a hard situation to avoid for small urban restaurants.

This is now my go-to burger place in Toronto. I love having it in my neighborhood.

  • Burger Broads : Damn! this place is ALWAYS busy! and now we know why! A wood burning grill to make burgers rivals your bbq burger at the cottage. And we've yet to find another burger place that smells like home.

  • Judah H. : I've been looking for a place like this since coming to Canada. The burgers are a class above any I have tasted. They really got it right.

  • Adrian G. : Best burgers in Toronto. Only drawback is the really bad attitude of the girl who serves on Sunday. Without fail, she makes eating at Woody's a bad experience.

  • Connect4 Wine - Tom H. : North meets South here with pulled pork poutine. Awesome. BBQ pulled pork sandwiches like we would expect in Bama. Only issue was no Louisiana hot sauces. Mexican & Asian hot sauces don't work w/ BBQ

  • John T. : They use a wood-burning grill, so if you eat in you'll love the food and smell like smoke for a while afterwards. Suggest carry-out if you don't want the smell to follow you.
