I should known as soon as we stepped into the location that we should have gone elsewhere. We waited forever to be seated. Keep in mind that there were tables available and we were the only ones waiting. Waitresses kept passing by us and not once acknowledged us. Not even to say someone will be with you in a moment. At one point I was fed up and stopped a waitress and asked how long until we get seated and all she said was "I don't know". They really need a lesson in customer service.
We finally get seated at a dirty table. We had to ask her to clean the table. Food at other tables were getting served. We waited 45 minutes before our food came. Waitresses here need an attitude adjustment. They don't care about customers. Also need to learn a little bit about communication. They brought my mom's food out and it was missing toast. Said nothing just walked away. My mom calls her and asks her about the toast and in a rude manner says to her it's coming.
Tables in front on us had no ketchup and had to borrow ours. Food was gross. The potatoes were boiled and looked like mush. No amount of ketchup can make it taste better. Toast was burned. Couldn't be bothered to ask for it to redone. Coffee was bitter.
If you enjoy places like this where waitresses are filled with attitude and food is worse than a 10 year old could make, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, go to kotsy's, cora's even McDonald's . But I will never step foot here again.
Went here on father day to take my family out for breakfasteven though it was busy and there was a line up i did not have to wait for long and we got service right away food tasted amazing and was a great price i would highly recommended going here :)
In any restaurant I go to, as soon as you're seated someone gets your drink order. The server in this restaurant managed to get other people's drink order who came after us before asking us. In fact, the server didn't even approach us for 30 mins and I had to stand up, call the manager so that someone help us. When she finally did take our order, instead of bringing our drinks, she proceeded to walk around asking customers for coffee refills. It would have been fine if she was by herself, but the manager was right behind her too standing around doing nothing. This possibly is the worst service ever. Food was nothing special, mediocre at best, and it took forever to arrive. Do not go here no matter what, you'd get better service from the Mcdonalds across the street.
poor service, horrible generic food. nothing tasted flavourfull or real. when brought up our concern the waistress just brushed it off and pretended not to hear.the only thing i enjoyed was my tea. rather stay home and cook breakfast myself then pay and get dissapointed by fake tasting food. i didnt even finish my meal and the manager didnt even seem to care or know how to handle the problem just kept blaming it on the suppliers. why go into business if your not going look after your customers? i will not be going back and i urge you not to go either :P sorry guys.
There was only one waitress, 3 groups of us came in at the same time and she told us all to sit where we want. I waited 30minutes for a menu and while i waited she was going to other tables taking there order and even going back to them asking how there food was. Not once did she come back afterwards to our table to ask how the food was. Maybe shes racist, or intimidated, who knows. She didnt voluntarily come over to ask for drink or coffee refills. We had to ask her for refills when she was at the table beside us taking up plates. She didnt seem like she wanted to wrk with us at all.. she deserves no tip and if i could reduce the total cost based on her service, i would have. This sunset grill at weston rd and 401 just opened and should not have poor service like this. Also, we had to get salt and pepper from the table behind us because ours had none and our ketchup bottle was empty. Now we been waiting forever for the bill. She needs to be way more attentitive to customers in the store because she is like the face of the company, first we see when we come in and last impression we leave with. This sunset grill needs to hire employees for specific roles and not have one person doing waitressing, seating, and cash and also hire more employees who can multi task in a timely manner, and have a genuine love for this job as well as retrain this employee on customer service and how to leave a positive impression for this company.
