St. Louis serves chicken, ribs, salads, appies and more in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.
A bunch of friends and I go to this location at least twice a week, once for wings and the second time for burgers. Every day they have some sort of drink special. And the staff is really awesome at this location. They have a really nice patio in the back , the waterfall sounds nice. I have to say they have the coldest beers on the block. If your looking for great food and a chill atmosphere check this place out.
Allow me to first start off by saying that this was my first experience with St Louis Wings - and my last.
When I arrived at the restaurant I tried to order 2 orders of wings. I had an entertainment book coupon for 2 for 1. The bartender/waitress told me "Im sorry but this is only good for dine-in". I replied that nowhere on the coupon did it state that, but she insisted that her manager would only allow it for dine-in, so I obliged.
I then asked her "Am I able to SUBSTITUTE the fries for anything else?" and she said "yup, salad, onion rings, etc." I chose onion rings and greek salad with the assumption that they were SUBSTITUTED for the fries.
When the bill arrived, I noticed the waitress charged me $1.99 ($3.98) for both SUBSTITUTIONS. I asked her why she didn't mention that before and she replied "its on our menu..."
This is one of the WORST experiences I have EVER had at a Toronto eatery. First of all, to not honor a coupon in its entirety is pathetic. Since when do vendors make up their own additional rules with coupons? But beyond that - to actually charge me $3.98 for SUBSTITUTIONS is perhaps one of the most petty cash-grabs I have ever fallen victim to.
