I stopped in to get a few take out rolls. I've been a semi-regular customer for about 3 years. The rolls are OK - just OK, but what you'd expect from a chain store - the McDonald's of sushi.
I looked at the menu outside the door and went to the register knowing what I wanted.
First, she rang in one of the items incorrectly. No big deal. But when she fixed it, there was a price discrepancy. When I told her the price was different, she argued and told me I was wrong. I had to ask her to come to the door and show her that she was wrong.
Astonishingly, she then told me that she would still charge the higher price, and that they would have to change their posted menu.
I suggested that any restaurant would honour a posted price and asked her if she wanted to lose a regular customer over such a small thing.
She continued to be rude, so I told her and all of the staff within earshot that I would never come in again.
Call me picky, but it's not the money - I'm just so disgusted by the poor service in this city. I'll stay away on principle. There are other sushi restaurants in the neighborhood.
