I have been there several times. Actually, I used to go there once a week; not because the place was amazing; just 'cause there was no other choices around.
Burgers are kind of expensive, and if the girls are grilling, they often overdo the patties and they tend to taste bitter. No, not the girls. They're kind of sweet.

I had been wanting to try Vera's for a while and this was not the location to choose!
I went with my husband and 4 year old son. The kids meal of chicken fingers and greasy french fries was 7.00 and didn't include a drink.
My turkey burger was burnt. Hubby liked his Vera Burger.
The bathroom was filthy and the guy making burgers did not wash his hands after he finished his break outside. (DH mentioned this fact later otherwise I would have not eaten)
Food...blah
Ambiance....blah...unless you like wobbly chairs and SPIKE tv.

I have to say, I'm a bit of a hamburger junkie. I do like to spend time in LA, trying out In n Out, Tommy's, etc... the closest I have come to a decent 'fast food' type burger here is Fatburger. Until now. I had the Baja burger to go, and the burger was delish. Better than Fatburger! The bun was living large, the burger, so fresh, moist (but cooked) and the guac/banana peppers so tasty. I don't live in Surrey, so its a bit out of the way, but I do believe I'll swing by this place again! Congrats Vera's, for coming out on this side of the bridge!
Price is a tad expensive, but the burgers are real good. However the french fries are a bit expensive and the place is not much to look at. Not a place I would choose to sit in as the seats are not much better than a school cafeteria. Takeout is the way to go.
