A small specialty shop that bakes cakes that tastes more like a dessert than a "typical cake". Decorated with fresh fruit, fresh whipping cream and Callebaut chocolate.
Great cakes! I've ordered several birthday cakes from them and each one was fabulous. Each cake was well presented and creatively topped / decorated. My favorite is the chocolate cake-- rich and chocolatey enough to satisfy but not overly sweet or heavy enough to make you stop eating it. If I had to pick one thing to say about this bakery, is that they have well-balanced cakes.
Value wise: not the cheapest cakes but you get what you pay for.
tucked in behind a few shops and a Starbucks on Cloverdale's main drag is this little secret. I found it by accident but the fact that I keep coming back is every bit intentional. I originally bought a big cake for a relatives 60th b-day party and never in my life have more people come up to me and asked me where I got this amazing cake - it was the white chocolate and strawberry. Since that time we've had that flavour a few times as well as ventured out and tried many of their other flavours and never once have we been disappointed or had any sort of complaint. I've since ordered a cake from Sinfull Hideaway at any excuse - birthdays, retirements, get togethers - whenever. I cannot say enough good things about these guys!
