The Salt Cellar has been here in Ocean Park since I was born (I won't tell you exactly how long that is, but it's more than 30 years). I can not remember a time when this lovely little deli hasn't been a part of our small community. The reason they have been here so long is because they are loved by all of us here in the community. The owners take care of us by serving us delicious, home made food with care and devotion. Cheryl is very dedicated to her craft and the evidence is in the taste. There are many pre-made foods such as salads, pastas, curries, ratatouille..... as well as a good selection of very good meats and cheeses. If you are wanting something hot for lunch, there are delicious sandwiches and soups, as well as daily specials, that help sustain most of the merchants working in other stores around the plaza. We are lucky to have this deli and hope it will remain for another 30 + years.
