Eat-in, Take Out Sushi and Teriyaki
Excellent meal! Really enjoyed the friendly staff and the food was delicious, especially the tuna sushi. Surprisingly, the egg rolls were also delicious. Yaki soba was lovely, not greasy at all. Maki rolls were stuffed full of ingredients. Loved the California roll the best. Great value for your money. Will definitely go again!
Im going to start off by saying I love this place!
Their food is good and an extremely good value! I have gone here since I was 7 or 8 and cannot get enough of it! The staff (family owned) is really nice and kind, they have incredible service and never let your cup of tea go empty if you choose to eat in. They have a rather large selection of food for being in a tiny location with no more than 15 seats. They are extremely fast in filling orders as there are 2 or 3 people working I believe, someone waiting tables/working the counter, a cook and sushi chef. They have very good prices which is good for my limited student budget. My friends, and pretty much everyone in my neighbourhood has gone here more than a few times and raves about it!
This is really what you want in a local restaurant, good quality, service and prices!
This is a very nice family owned Japanese restaurant located on 152nd and Fraser Hwy. Great food (their combo C and dynamite rolls are a MUST!), great service, and relatively cheap prices. Their teriyaki sauce mixes amazingly well with their hot sauce! Can get a bit busy on Friday/Saturday evenings, but well worth the wait
This place is located just up the street from me and has become my favourite Japanese place in Surrey. Their prices are more than decent, and their portions are awesome. It's run by a lovely Korean couple and there are a few young people who serve on the busy days. They have a good mix of sushi and hot food, my personal favourite is their udon, which they pack with lotsa veggies, and meat/seafood, depending on what kind you order. The atmosphere is cozy, almost like a feel of a Japanese diner. Service is always friendly and prompt, they make an effort to make sure your tea is full as soon as you drink half the cup. Overall a great place with great food and very decent prices.
The review only has two stars but two stars = "decent" and this place is decent (which definitely isn't bad).
I don't know - menu is limited and location and ambiance leaves something to be desired but if you want some quick, cheap sushi on the way home it's definitely worth a stop to visit.
