The last reviewer plagiarized the last sentence of their review (from one of my reviews!). The audacity.
My policy nowadays is not to review restaurants I dislike, but by the previous reviewers theft I will post exactly what I think about this place.
I’ve tried this place a few times and all the times I’ve disliked it. This place has been around forever outside the T&T at the Food Court area. They have a big sign saying 100% Korean owned. Now I’ve never ever come across a Korean restaurant NOT owned by someone Korean. The food here is mediocre and not good value. While the portions are large, if the ingredients aren’t good it’s not worth eating.
Firstly Korean food always includes free extras like Kimchi but NOT here! They charge you for Kimchi or other small Korean side dishes. It’s ridiculous because it’s a better value just to eat at a proper sit down Korean restaurant as the sides come for free and the mains are freshly cooked not sitting in a steamer tray for the whole day.
Now to the complaints about the food here.
1. The Vegetables taste sweet as they add a bit of sugar.
2. ALL of their dishes are greasy in fact you can see the food sitting in a pool of oil.
3. The meat is the worst quality around, the pork sitting in the steamer tray just tasted rancid as if it had gone bad, I don’t even want to imagine where they source such poor quality meat.
4. The chicken is only served with those short and fat rice noodle rolls so you barely get any chicken.
5. Their fried stuff has too much batter.
Anyhow beware of this place. It’s not worth it as they load you up with cheap carbs and poor quality meats. And what is up with all of the rules? You can’t have two of the same items from the steamer tray. The owner lady who serves you seems mean and pushy. All they are interested in is your money. I mean what is a Korean meal without Kimchi? And then to have a sign claiming you are 100% Korean owned. For the food they are serving they should be ashamed, as it's poor quality and doesn't even taste good. The only thing that was okay was the plain chapchae noodles but even that was greasy. And it is hard to screw up noodles.

Great quality Korean eatery located in a food court at the T&T in Guildford.
Has surprisingly fresh, tasty, and inexpensive homemade Korean style food.
Truly a hidden gem, known by the lucky who have stumbled by. They opened on April 17th, 2007 and I 've dined there for almost very lunch and more since.
They have amazing Combo's starting at $4.99 plus tax for rice and two items. Add $1.00 and try the Korean potato noodles. Try the hot stone bowl with rice, veggies, raw egg and other items with a medium spicy sauce. It is $8.99, tasty and a satisfying lunch or at any hour. Sweet potatoes , deep fried squid ,deep fried prawns, and honey chicken if you are there at the right time of day mmm mmm good.
The soups what can I say to die for love the chicken soup loaded with vegetables and udon noodles, spicy kimchi soup, seaweed soup, spicy seafood soup plus more ,oh yes spicy seafood with beef and vermacelli noodles.Kimchi wow what a flavour different types each day. Lunch time 11:45 am can be busy as students line up 15 deep at times but leave by 12:12 pm .
Everything is freshly cooked each day and througout the day. I highly recommend this place as it has friendly owners, generous portions, ridiculously low prices and very yummy freshly cooked food.
