Wedding one year ago... What a lovely time. Thankyou staff at Rockwells! Dinner was superb

We were the first to have a wedding in the Holiday Inn. Everything nice and new. Clean and well orchestrated.

I would like to thank all of the people involved in the preparations of this reception. All of it was on time and very tasty. All the guests were delighted with the selections and there were more than plenty for all the guests. Even some vegans guests were well satisfied.

I would like to say that the following morning we had the Brunch in Rockwell’s as many of the guests from out of town and the wedding party all used the hotel’s facilities overnight. The restaurant is nice and new, clean and the Breakfast/Brunch sure was satisfying.

It is one year later and Yesterday we came back for Brunch. 1st Anniversary. It was lovely to be able to enjoy the atmosphere and good food.

Thankyou Rockwell’s, and the Holiday Inn for making this such a special and memorable time.

Nice little Bar / Grill in the Cloverdale Area

We tried Rockwells the other night, as it's Cloverdale location just opened up. We were immediatly greeted by the restaurants hostess and shown to a cozy booth in the lounge area. The bar/grill has an ample amount of televisions, would be a great place to watch a hockey game. Our server was attentive and friendly, food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. Mangodriver Martini was not great, way too much alcohol and not enough flavor, needs some work! My husband had the "Blackened Chicken Club" which he quite enjoyed. I had the "Vegetable Medly on Angel Hair" (Subbed the angel hair for linguini) which was okay, pasta was overcooked, as it usually is when ordering a pasta dish at a bar/grill, nice assortment of veggies though and the garlic cream sauce was decent. Not sure we'd return to Rockwells for dinner again, but would drop by for nachos and a hockey game!

I think that was the most ridiculous Caeser Salad I've ever seen. Who serves a salad without cutting it or shredding it? The beef dip was a joke thinly sliced Prime Rib ya right more like shreds of beef mixed with onion. More like a Phily cheese without the cheese. At least something was shredded.

I would not reccommend this place to anyone, I will never return and am embarassed for my town to have this disgrace here.

I really had high hopes for this restaurant. Cloverdale is really lacking in it's decent places to eat out especially going for drinks with the girls etc. I thought this was going to be different. Boy was I wrong.
I ordered the wings, and asked for half plain, half hot. The server said the kitchen wouldn't do that. The two girls I went with ordered one of the pasta dishes and asked for it to be split in two. They also wouldn't do that for them. We ordered bellinis, which were terrible. Nothing like any bellini I've ever tried.

The service overall was okay. Our server really didn't seem very interested in her job, which I understand because the place was relatively empty, so she was probably bored.

We ordered the chocolate inferno for dessert, which wasn't great. It tasted bland and absolutely nothing special.

It's really too bad, because the decor is quite nice, and this place could be good if they overhauled their menu and their way of thinking. Restaurants are supposed to cater to the customer.
Oh well.
