B-Day lunch with family
By Huge of Surrey (86 Reviews)
Submitted Wednesday, January 11, 2012 - 10:19am [Dine in]

Had my B-day lunch here with the family a few days ago. They greeted us promptly when we walked in and seated us right away. They offered the kids some crayons and colouring paper which kept them busy for awhile. Better half ordered the chicken burger with gacamole on the side with fires. I ordered the lamb burger with caesar salad. To start we had the towering onion rings. That was hot, fresh and tasty appy. The burgers were pretty good, but I found the caesar salad a bit too soggy for my liking. To accomopany our meals we had pop and freckle lemonades. The kids had some of our fries and was offered chocolate milk. I was very impressed with the service. The waitress was very "on the ball" as she had the refills ready just before we finished our drinks. Came to us to clear the plates when needed and asked us how our meal was and if we needed anything. Very proactive service for a change. They even offered us a sundae for my B-day. When the bill came, we had a entertainment coupon for the towering onion rings, whcih came off the bill. Also she comp my burger, sundae and even the kids chocolate milk. I was very surprise and happy with this dining experience that we are planning to come back very soon.

I only Like lemonade

after a few try, nothing much to order besides burgurs, wraps and lemonade.
I love the yam fries, and the service was not that bad for mine experinces, besides the part that no one greet us for a while at the door.

overall I would occationally dine there and avoid peak hours. for better service.

And I think they might have birthday specials? cuz everytime I go, they have at least two birthday groups in there!!

Dinner for two

My boyfriend and I stopped by to grab a bite to eat. He had the royal burger and there are no problems with it. I orders the bacon cheese burger, I took a couple bites and it was a little pink but edible, I took another bite and it was raw. I sent it back and they took it off the bill and made me another one to go. We got home and I took a bite, once again it was a little pink but edible, I took another bite and it was raw again, I didn't take it back to the restaurant because they already took it off the bill, but I strongly suggest that they check the burgers before they serve them. Our waitress was really slow as well I understand that they get busy but everyone around seemed to get service except for us. If you can't handle a big section then don't, customer service is very important at a restaurant so popular. I really don't think I have any reason to eat there ever again.

A solid restaurant but nothing spectacular

I went to this restaurant with a large group of over 10 people for lunch yesterday. The food was solid but nothing spectacular. The people I went with were happy with the hamburgers and salad. I had a baked potatoe soup which was solid and it came with cheese bread. It came out to be about $6.50 including tax and tap.

raw food = unsafe and inedible

The ignorance of the service there was always passable by me and my girlfriend until our
experience this evening. Once not being provided cutlery, and waiting a long period of time for our waitress' return, she told me to "get it myself", on top of being a lack of service with no refills on drinks for over 15 minutes a multiple of different times.

We really decided to completely boycott this restaurant when our most recent experience took place. I had received a completely inedible RAW bacon cheeseburger. The ignorant and RUDE manager acted like a child and stormed off when I complained about it. I was not at fault for receiving this RAW MEAT, and had felt like I had done something wrong by complaining.

Their website states that "Members are trained in proper beef handling techniques and use Red Robin's proprietary cooking process to guarantee that each of our Guests receives the juiciest, safest and best-tasting, made-to-order gourmet burgers available."

This particular location and staff members do NOT meet up to these so-called "standards", and they never have. I am very upset that this poor service had to ruin our evening and ruin our commitment to this restaurant;
terrible hostesses, terrible waitresses, terrible management, and terrible food safe measurements...

Never has our service been satisfactory, with every time including a rude staff member.

What do you want??

I walked in to this restaurant a few weeks ago with my family to grab a bite to eat. Upon entering I was not greeted by a smile or a hello, but instead the rude host/server said to me in a serious tone "WHAT DO YOU WANT??". Being a minority (he was white) I felt even more offended and unwelcome at this establishment. Without offering any sort of apology he simply directed my family to our table and than stated " I don't do this much!" while walking away with a smirk on his face. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!

Poor service and boring food

I am not sure if this chain was ever better but I was prompted to write a review after eating here last week and being ignored for about 15 minutes. I wish she had ignored me more because then I would have elft and not been voercharged for a dry burger with a hard lettuce. seriously, it wasn't but tasted like it was a fried lettuce. It was like a low quality White Spot without the smiles. Sorry.
