Over the years I have tried various Indian sweets from different restaurants in the lower mainland and Ontario. Prabu Sweets was a delightful surprise! The sweets are always fresh, soft, and divine. I've sampled the majority of the sweets like chum chum, barfee, milk cake, etc and wow, they've done a great job. This is a small establishment and typically the chum chum's run out by 2 pm each day. I've been here three times and everytime there is at least 5-10 other customers waiting in line. If you like Indian sweets, try this place, you will be surprised! Highly authentic and well recommended.

Although we are not Indian we enjoy walking across the park to visit Prabhu Sweets to pick up some sweet snacks or a meal of samosas.
The place is always busy. Everyone from staff to customer is extremely polite. It is so busy that one wonders how you will ever get your turn. Miraculously it all works out and you get your turn to order from the cases stacked with colourful sweets or the cook to order items from the kitchen in the back. I have asked people why this place is so busy compared to other sweet shops in the area. Besides the obvious quality of the food and cleanliness of the place, the usual answer is that they can trust that it is 100% vegaterian.
