Omega Pizza specializes in pizza and wings for take out and delivery.
Ahhhh my first review! Gonna be a food critique now! haha
Been to this place since my first day in grade 8 at Frank Hurt! They have a deal for 3 slices and a pop for $5 total. (So it's great if you're a kid and you don't have any extra on you). I usually went during lunch, and went throughout my high school days. Not only was the food really fresh at lunch the two owners (husband & wife) were the nicest people. There were times some of the kids would have less money or forget their money, but the owners let them eat, and just asked them to be an honest person and bring the money the next day.
As I've grown older, the wings have taken over my life, haha. They're are sooo good, we usually pick them up with friends to watch hockey, football. Our only issue was the new BBQ sauce, it's good and all but we miss the old BBQ sauce.
The pizzas are great as well, our family orders probably 2 times a month from here, loaded with toppings. You get 3 toppings per pizza which is usually more than other pizza joints, for a decent price. They aren't cheap but affordable so that's great for my family. Other than a few mishaps and mistakes that happen (we're all human) it's a great place to go to and has been around for I think 15+ years. No business stays open that long without having a great product and service.
Definitely recommend this place! Enjoy
all in all , great value for your buck. there lunch special, 3 slices and a pop for 5 bucks, very good deal. the food is consitantly good, better than every other pizza place in newton for sure. the wings are very good if you get honey garlic, not so good if you get hot wings, almost like a ketchup sauce with tabasco or something, they need to change the hot sauce. but the honey wings are some of the best i have ever had. sooo bottom line if you live in newton and don't feel like driving to white rock ( ocean park pizza, classic o.p pizza and steveston pizza) this will be your best bet.
We live a km away from Omega and have ordered from them 3 times in the past 2 months. Always consistently good food, value and delivery times. Not the best za we've had, but considerably better than others(greasy hut & panacrap). Pros: Good value, quality and delivery times. Cons: somewhat limited menu.
Have been ordering from here for years with little to no problems with the end product. Had one or two pizza's I wasn't pleased with when I got them home but they were definitely eatable with no bad taste or residual effect. We mentioned our disappointment on a return trip and were treated with utmost respect and had the next pizza cost reduced in price. Have found the counter staff and management most helpful, informative and courteous.
I order from them once a month and It's always great Pizza! I have had pizza from many different places and this place is up there with the best of them! You won't go wrong ordering here! The lunch time special is also a great deal 3 slice and pop for 5 bucks. If you want a real pizza pie add a few extra toppings to any order and wow! Also they use real cheese.
I get my food always from either this location or the Guildford location. They have amazing food, great prices and awesome service. You HAVE to try their hot wings, you won't go anywhere else after. Pizza is awesome too, finally real cheese. Something you don't see often is 100% cheese and you can taste the difference. The other pizza joints taste like cardboard boxes with they offer and if they do offer real cheese, the price will break your back.
