Based on the ratings, we decided to try this for lunch.

Upon entry, we were slowly greeted to a very dirty, unclean restaurant that has seen better days. There were service trolleys with dirty dishes beside us, the walls and partitions were dirty. The service was slow, took quite some time about 20 minutes to receive our lunch after ordering, and when it arrived, the quantity was large, but the food was substandard.

My coworker and I both ordered the Lunch Box B - The standard beef teriyaki, tempura, california roll and nigiri sushi, 1 tuna, 1 salmon, 1 ebi and 1 egg. The beef was chewy and grisly, no sauce on it, and rather tasteless. The tempura batter was thick and chewy. The sushi - only OK.

The tea was very hot, which was nice. Upon leaving, after we paid the bill an tipped, we requested a take away box for our remaining sushi, and asked for two packets of soya sauce, which we were charged 20 cents!

Won't go back.

I've been here a few times with my friends. The owners are extremely nice and their servers are nice as well. They're very helpful and they're always smiling at their customers.

Foodwise, I've had better, but this restaurant is the first restaurant where I've seen sushi in art form. My personal favorite at the moment is the crazy roll, which is deepfried california roll. If you want to deep fry your sushi, it's only an extra dollar. The portions are pretty big. I ordered a T.S.S roll, and it was HUGE. They do not skimp out on the portions on sashimi and I know many restaurants that give you small amounts of raw fish.

Service is very good I've never had to wait more than a minute or two to get in even when it's full. The owners give you miso soup on the house, and most of the times that I've been there, they've brought out food on the house. Like I said, they are always smiling so it gives a good atmosphere. These people enjoy their jobs.

Value is great. It's cheap and affordable, and the portions fill you right up. You literally cannot complain about their prices.

I find that it's very cramped in their and I do not like the dividers between the tables. But it is a small restaurant, and their food/service/value makes up for the crampiness.

I know my sushi inside and out. I've tried one of the best, top sushis and i know what quality sushi is.
To be completely honest, the sushi here is okay, its not the best because i've tried many other better ones, but its completely eatable. Quality wise.

The atmosphere of this restaurnat is very nice..its like a real japanese sushi restauants.
One complain is that i don't like the benches and the dividers between the tables..
its kinda awkward and uncomfortable. But other than that, its a great place that brightens the moood when eating sushi.

Value. oh my goodness. When ordering a simple roll like a california roll, i was very impressed by how big the pieces were...they were HUGE. they were fillling as well. Excellent value. And also, i think, this is a service on them, but they go around the restaurant serving miso soup to all the customers eating in. and occasionally, bring other stuff for free too. Excellent service. absolutely fantastic. The servers and owners are very nice too!

I was disappointed when the previous owner moved because that sushi was probably one of the best ive had, but this food is decent, and im within walking distance, so im satisfied.
