We finally decided to try Limelight the other day, as we've been anticipating its opening. We have been looking forward to a nice little lunch spot in the Clayton area, (a non-chain!) The owners seemed friendly, we were quickly greeted and our order was taken. The cafe itself is quite cute, the fresh flowers on a few of the tables were nice, would have been great to have seen them on all the tables as they added to the hand painted flower art on the walls of the cafe. Some nice jazz or background music really would have added to the ambiance. Food was quite good, we enjoyed a veggie panini, and the breakfast panini. Veggie panini had lots of fresh peppers, both sandwiches were nicely grilled and served with carrots and celery. We noticed the menu stated all paninis were served with tortilla chips, which we didn't receive? Not sure, maybe they were out? Our bill came to roughly $20.00, (two sandwiches a red iced tea and a water) which we found to be a lttle pricey, had the sanwiches come with a side dish (cup of soup, side salad, tortilla chips) we certainly wouldn't have minded the cost, but seemed a little steep for what we actually got. Definitely not a bad experience though, we'll be back to give Limelight another try!!
