Wings and beer

I've been going there since I started working nearby in 2008. Kept hearing those ads for 15 cent wings. They cost 25 cents now. But stilla great deal and 2 dollar pints on Monday and Wednesday. A Cloverdale landmark the building that is. The washroom does not smell into the bar. But being that the building is older they should gut the washroom and put in new ones. The oldness of the bar area just adds to it's charm. Good Indian dishes there too.

el cheapo chicken wings

My friends and i have frequented this quaint and favorite neighborhood pub for several years now.

Their chicken wings were to die for, and the best part was the price, only 15 cents each.

The pub recently came under new ownership and the flavor and hospitality of the pub didn't change................for a while.

I had occasion to re-visit The Clyde (as I still prefer to call it) just a few days ago while enroute to visit an old freind.

While the price of the chicken wings remain unchanged, the quality and preparation of the wings left much to be desired.

More noticable was foul scent of urine which leached into the pub from the men's washroom.

It's very unlikely that I'll patronizze this establishment anytime in the near or foreseeable future.

Such a shame.
