Go for Korean the best

I have been frequenting them for a little over 2 Years and I always go back when I visit this area (which is not desirable). By far, the best Japanese and Korean foo outside of the Japan (yes I have been there too). The staff is always plesant and very courteous. Try the Korean foods for the best experience but they also make good burgers, meats and the BBQ too.

I find it hard to believe that no one has ever reviewed this busy and popular Morgan Creek area restaurant. In fact, I'm pretty sure that this was listed on dinehere.ca a year ago. The staff still are the same, so what gives?

I've been coming here for many years. The lunch boxes are always good and very filling. Nice size miso soup comes first. The tempura is nice and crispy, with variety -- green bean, zucchini, yam, sweet potato and shrimp. However, I think it used to be bigger. California rolls are generously portioned, although very modest on the avocado and heavier on the mayo. Very disappointed in the tuna. Despite the large size, the tuna was mushy and had a sinew line through it that made it hard to bite apart. Yuck. Maybe it was just an off day. On the plus side, they actually have Japanese ginger (the pink stuff) which is better than the white stuff.

It also appears that they've started promoting daily specials such as a sashimi lunch box and a Korean bul-gogi dish. The latter sounded tasty even if it wasn't Japanese.

Service is very good, particularly from the younger lady who always smiles pleasantly. It will take more than one so-so meal to keep me away.
