The menus at Frasers are inspired from fresh ingredients, creatively prepared and presented, and will appeal to a diverse clientele. Everything from the bread and pizza dough to our soups and sauces are made from scratch. The steaks are hand cut to order in house, and fish is brought in fresh on a regular basis.
After being out of Vancouver for a while, I noticed that this local neighbourhood place had been renovated and re-opened with new owners.
What a treat!
I took my wife and kids and was very pleasantly suprised. From the childrens menu to the wine list, they seem to hit the right notes.
I had the halibut and it was phenomenal, my wife went for the steak and she loved it. Even my kids were happy with their food.
We shared the crab cake and it was the best we have ever had.
Wine list is good and reasonable selections abound.
Did not try dessert but we will on our next visit.

Recently visited the Fraser Bistro and Lounge in Fraser Heights and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. This little bistro tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood in North Surrey serves up home cooked meals as well as standard pub fair that is presented with elegance.
Food: The food that was offered has a home cooked look and taste. The selection on the menu is not as large as I would have wanted, however, the quality that is placed with each entree makes up for the lack of selection.
Service: The service was average but I would consider it good for the amount of tables that our server had to wait on. However, it was a busy Friday night with a few Christmas parties to contend with.
Value: Overall value was good as both quantity and quality of food fell above my expectations.
Ambiance: Ambiance of the restaurant could be improved on as the decor and styling is a mix of a bistro / cafe of today, mixed with splashes of the 1990s.
Overall, the Fraser Bistro and Lounge provided to be a solid place to eat and I will likely go back from time to time.
