Edo Japan offers hot, fast and delicious Japanese food, prepared in a traditional Teppan-style.
We were in the hood at the Save-On foods when we decided to get a bite. Looking around we could see a Milestones and Edo Japan. Being closer to the car Edo won out. No customers when we entered and none when we left and none in between. Food was like in a mall food court in fact it was set up exactly the same. No complimentary tea or water. Menu on the wall. Order your food and pick-up. Plastic utensils. Prices were out of line for what you get. 9 pieces of california roll for $5.50. Bento boxes were passable but no value. Bathroom was clean and the restaurant was spic and span. Caucasian cashier/greeter and 2 filipino kitchen staff. Upon reflection I should have bought some takeout sushi from Save-On. By the way this Save-On has complimentary coffee.
