The menu at Earls focuses on freshly made, seasonally inspired, casually elegant West Coast cuisine with International flavour. In addition to wide variety of dishes Earls has a drink menu to match.
When I was working another job I used to frequently go to this chain to treat myself. Sometimes I brought my girlfriend with me. Sometimes a lady from work. I knew one of the members of staff at this restaurant in a neighbouring town so I really liked the place.
Recently one afternoon a family consisting of two women and two little girls sits at the table next to us. I was having a romantic evening with a beautiful lady I dont see as often as I like. I have never felt comfortable around children and things were only going to get worse. The girls decided to constantly harass me by shouting at me. The women tried to get them to shut up and let us eat my dinner in peace but to little effect and on top of it we were looking for privacy. The kids continued to shout hi hi hi over at me. I tried ignoring them but no luck. The women must have realised I was on the verge of loosing my cool. I restrained myself. This is Earls. It completely ruins the atmosphere for drinks. The waitresses must have felt so helpless. The food and service was good but the kids.... I am thankful for an understanding girlfriend
Had lunch at the location recently. Have never been to this one before and actually haven't patroned any Earl's for a number of years.
Ordered a chicken quesadilla with ceasar salad. Both were 'meh'.
I practically live at Earl's in the 80s and their food was quite good for casual dining. That was then, this is now...
The chain is way past its prime and the menu selections are dull and tired. Food quality, quantity and flavour were not worth the price.
Will think twice before going back but that's probably why I have stayed away from Earl's... because Cactus Club is much superior for casual dining.
My family and I went to earls to dine .. as we usually do as the food is good. Anyway my mom ordered the steak and mushrooms. It was so chewy and the waitress didn't even take it off the bill as it was not even eaten. She did offer a chicken breast or something instead... but it was alerady unsatisfying.. and we were full mooching off eachother's foods. Most franchised restaurants please their customers anyway they can.. but who cares...! The rest was quite alright... but it's not one of my favourite western cuisines.
