Upon arriving I was surprised to see how large this restaurant was on the inside. Quite deceiving as it looked very small from the parking lot! I sat on the patio mid june on a day that wasnt the warmest, but the gas fireplace kept us warm. Service was prompt and polite. I was a little disappointed hoping this place would have more authentic italian dishes, not to say the food was not good, it was actually quite delicious, but to say that for the portion size and taste it was worth it would be a bit of a stretch. As a big eater when I pay what I paid for the spaghetti and meatballs, I expect a bit of a challenge but the 2 medium sized meatballs and average pasta portion stood no chance even after a french onion soup and a shared calamari appetizer. That said if you arent the biggest of eaters then you will probably love this place.
Great place to eat. My fiance go there regularly and we have never been let down. Service is fantastic, our waiter knows what we like to order. The owner often talks to his customers. We usually get the barbeque chicken and baked tortellini and it is fantastic. their pizza is great as well. Living in Ocean Park it is easy to go to either the Oceak Park pub or Del Rios and we choose Del Rios 9/10 times. I highly recommend it.
