Located on the busy highway through Cloverdale, this place has been here for years. The parking lot tells you who might be inside...lots of pick-up trucks. Sort of a trucker-stop ambiance, the old red and black linoleum is clean and highly polished, the tables with checkered tablecloths covered with glass. Everything looks neat and tidy, if older.

Based on the fact that this IS a diner, not haute cuisine, I was most impressed. NOT a greasy spoon in sight. Greetings were pleasant, service was prompt. Coffee and iced tea arrived almost instantly. All-day breakfast, sandwiches, salads, wraps, burgers pretty much the menu. We ordered breakfasts, which came in short order. Eggs were done perfectly to order, bacon was crisp, sausages NOT greasy. Real home fries (not frozern) were plentiful and well-browned, and again, NOT greasy. Drinks were refilled as soon as we emptied them. My only "quibble" would be the bottom-grade jam packages. Not much taste to the raspberry...

Well priced, friendly servers, obviously a "local" hangout, but welcoming. Think we've found ourselves a new breakfast/lunch spot!
