My Mom and I decided to check out this little tea shop for lunch, as we've been anticpating it's opening! We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and quickly seated. Ambiance was great, we loved the overturned china tea cups on all the tables, the large apothecary jars full of tea were a great touch. Service was professional and very detail oriented. We loved the Vanilla Rooibos tea. Lunch was great, we enjoyed a vegetarian quiche, a vegetarian sandwich and the creamy corn chowder. Portions were great for us, having smaller appetites, but we both felt food prices were a little high, other than this, we really, truly enjoyed our experience at The China Cup Tea Company.....we'll definitely be back for a great pot of tea!
My Mom and I took my daughters here for tea, and we were not disappointed! The ambiance is lovely, and the wait staff is gracious and accomodating. The 26 different kinds of tea made for a tough choice, but the sample of Lover's Leap was good, and the Creamy Earl Grey we chose was delicious. My Mom's (local) turkey sandwich was yummy, and my salmon quiche was pretty good too. The only complaint is the food prices are a bit high, but the quality is there, so I don't mind paying a bit more. We will return!
