Boston Pizza offers a casual dining atmosphere with over 100 menu items including a selection of pizzas, pastas and a wide variety of appetizers, meal-sized salads, entrees and desserts. The restaurant also has plenty of big screen TVs to catch the big game.
Food: Very hit and miss but usually more miss than anything. Had spinach dip here once that was completely cold and could not be eaten. Tortellini came half cooked - some were cooked, others were cold. Soggy cactus cut potatoes. I honestly drive an extra 15 min to the next boston pizza just to avoid this one because it's just horrible.
Service: Very spotty. Sometimes we get excellent service while other times it's been horrible. We were once greeted by a young fellow that didn't even look at us while he spoke - he kept looking at the ceiling. Servers are forgetful and bring the wrong orders.
Ambiance: Nice since this location is new but it's just like any other boston pizza. Just a place to go since everything else is closed. Or if it's Pasta Tuesday.
My lemon prawns were either overcooked, or left out too long and were completely unedible, and even had a funny smell about them. Since the server hadn't come by to check on us by the time i had finished my side salad, I walked back to the kitchen to get some attention. They didn't offer me a free meal, or even offer to pay for it. I told the managers that they were f**ken idiots and left without paying (I only had that in a large party with water). Sure it was a d**k move but if I can't eat the food, get attention from a server, or deal with managers why the hell should I support that franchise?
and to the person below me, you should try out schanks in queensborough, its only a little bit of highway driving from BP nordel and unless its a hockey game or ppv they will have room, look it up on here.
This is one of the few restaurants in the North Delta/Surrey Area that seems to be able to fit large groups of people for parties. It always seems to be packed with birthdays or those types of events 10-15 people together. I'm not sure if that's the reason why the service is terrible maybe they can't handle the volume. We've been three-four times this year and not very pleased not likely to go back. Long Waits to get a table, get refills of beverages. Lots of staff turnover too, everyone seems to be wearing in training name tags. Boston Pizza the food it good, it's good I do enjoy the pizza bread and I especially like the perogy pizza. When you pay more than the average rate for pizza one expects the service to be a little more with it.
I've been going to this location for a number of years, actually since the place opened. I've had consistently good service and am rarely if ever ignored. It's a busy restaurant and I know that at times they are short staffed but my drinks are never left empty and the wait staff are pleasant and apologetic if things are taking too long. I think people sometimes forget that this is a busy restaurant and will try to go during the lunch or dinner rushes, or during a big game. Service is going to fluctuate based on the amount of people currently in the restaurant, it's the same everywhere.
Boston pizza food is pretty much the same quality no matter where you go, and I have never had my order mixed up at this location. I have gone at all times of the day and had good service.
This location can use some improvement when it comes to food quality and customer service. I have had nachos that were burned on one side and soggy on the other with very little toppings and very greasy, soggy fries, flat pop and the server barely ever came to check up on us.
But, because I used to work for BP, I explained to the server why she got a failing grade for quality service. It was her first day in the industry and rooky cooks.
