This used to be the best place to get awesome inexpensive Indian food! Sadly the owners have changed and now the food does not measure up. They've raised prices for their dishes now it's comparable to a sit-in restaurant however this is more of a take-away place. The ambiance definately does not justify the price rise. Especially as it now looks like there is new owners and the food isn't very good it's worse then mediocre in fact. Their samosa's used to be amazing with spiced potato filling and some spices used in the crust as well. Now the crust part is stil good with fewer spices though but the filling is mediocre! The filling is the same used by every other Punjabi restaurant. It's terrible, underspiced and like mashed potatos. We tried the channa and it was bright orange. I like it when tomato's give the dish colour but it seemed like they cheaped out and the spices used for the channa sauce tasted too artifical. Their sweets always looked a bit sad and now they look even sadder. Thick doughy jaleebi, and a bit stale burfi's. Very sad to see an excellent restaurant go downhill so much. There used to be so many patrons here it was always bustling it's slowed down so much though word of mouth must have gotten around that this is no longer a great place for food.
