Arirang is a Korean Restaurant serving hot pot and other authentic Korean dishes.
I drove by this place with it's steamed up windows and noticed it was new. I had to try it. The prices are very reasonable but I recommend ordering the individual meals as they include more banchan. When I went there were mainly Korean patrons which is a good sign. I ordered a seafood and noodle in spicy soup. It was very reasonable but in my opinion I would have rather paid more for better quality ingredients. I found the mushrooms were past their prime and were obviously bruised and browning. The seafood was that cheap frozen mixed assorted seafood pack. I hate those small shell-less mussels. I would have preferred if they had used higher quality frozen seafood. In fact the soup didn't have much of a seafood flavour. The soup wasn't as spicy either. The best part of the meal were the noodles, they were al dente and perhaps freshly handmade they were tasty. The few banchan served were decent as well. It's a nice husband and wife cooking and running the place, I might return I just wouldn't have the assorted seafood.
I love going to this Hot Pot place for good and fresh food, you really get your money's worth, the soup base is good, you can choose 2 soup bases, not that oily and not too spicy.
They have a wonderful variety of everything from meat to seafood, and vegetables. Everything is fresh, the restaurant is small but very clean, and I especially like the service, the servers are prompt and attentive.
