My husband and I have now been 3 times and all 3 of those times were just fantastic. The food is very fresh and the service is very friendly and accommodating. I always have the crispy roll and my husband has as much tuna as he can! It's wonderful to find such a great place and not have to travel downtown. Highly recommended.

I have been here about nine or ten times over the years. It is by far my favorite sushi place to go to I wish it was not so far. The all you can eat menu for the price is amazing. I have been there on dates and with groups and I always had fun. Don't worry about seating because there is always lots and be prepared to take off your shoes to have the true Japanese experience.. or get a table. I love this place.

i love coming here for 2 reasons...1 being that there are so very few good places to eat in surrey and no 2 being that they have the best freaking rolls ever!! their las vegas and jazz rolls are my favorite even though the names are kinda cheesy. other than the fusion rolls, everything else is just the regular ordinary fare

The first time we tried this restaurant was when we first moved to the area about 15 years. There weren't too many Japanese restaurants around in Surrey at that time. We were very impressed with the food and the service back then. Kind of forgot about it but went back not too long ago and was very impressed that they had not lost their touch. The food was great and certainly within the top few Japanese restaurants in Surrey.

I have had the good fortune of having a lot of Japanese friends who have taken my out to some really great sushi places, so I know great sushi when I have it. The food was outstanding, the service was great and the ambiance was awesome. My Boyfriend and I decided to check out this place since it's right across from the movie theater in Guildford. We were so happy with the food. It costs a little more than some sushi places but well worth it and the portions are a good size. I will be telling all my friends. It made our day.

My friends and I go to this place at least once a month and we are never disappointed.

We typically order the maki and not the sashimi as that's what we like, but the few times I've ordered sashimi it's been very fresh and presented well. I think their spicy tuna roll is one of the best in Surrey, if not in the GVRD, it's a good size and not too spicy. The dynamite roll, chopped scallop roll, and california rolls are all great too. Every time we go we order a different one of their Special Rolls and we have yet to be disappointed.

Try the Philadelphia Roll, Crazy Boy Roll, Crispy Roll and the French Kiss Roll for sure!

Those of you who live in Surrey will surely agree that there are not much place to go and have a solid dining experience.
Not only I think that Akasaka is a great place to satisfy the delicate taste buds, but I can definitely say that it is a best Japanese restaurant in Surrey.
The foods are good, (but some will find the menu a little pricy compared to other local Japanese restaurants) ingredients are always fresh, and the decor is modern, clean and simply eye catching.
Also, for true fans of Tuna sushi, I recommend you to try Toro. (Yes! they do have Toro nigiri on the menu!)

If you are in the area, be sure to give Akasaka a try!
