Sushisen is an authentic Japanese restaurant using fresh local fish and high-quality ingredients from Japan, they have been serving an excellent sushi since 2007.
Who would have thunk it? a funky sushi joint that attracts every evening loads of people in a place like squamish! well this place is such a refreshing surprise for such a town, i know it would have people lining up for blocks if it was located in downtown vancouver. forget about the predictable california rolls, you need to order the following: yam rolls, dragon rolls, deep fried icecream, yes you read correctly!
and their specials always change up, there is plenty to choose from, the place is somewhat small, but a lot of the locals get take-out. the servers are very friendly and helpful, you can see the chefs working and they greet you sometime in japanese. only open on evenings and closed on mondays.
