Don't dine here, the girls here are rude and all McDonalds in Canada has phone chargers but this place has no phone charger which even annoyed me more. I had never had bad customer service in my life than any other place than this place. Rude employees, and coffee here cost over 2$ with muffin other place cost 1.75$.
And no phone battery charger for customers and girls are Soo rude and snob especially that mullato girl who thinks she is supervisor.
I was a regular customer and would order online and the driver would call upon delivery and I would pay with no issue. The first incident was minor and my order was $36 and I had a 50 dollar bill. I planned on tipping him $4 and wanted $10 back. When he arrived he said he left the money bag at the store and said I should have let customer service know I was paying with a 50. I told him I placed the order online so I didn't talk to anyone and I didn't think I had to notify them seeing how the change I would be getting back was a small amount. So I told him there was a convenient store nearby. I had to wait for him to go there and come back with my change. He never apologized but again said next time let them know when I'm paying with a 50. After that I ordered many times without incident.
Then one night I placed an order online which totalled $45. After an hour had past I called the main number to find out the status of my order. I was wondering did they even receive the order? Was there a traffic issue...what? Because they never took that long to deliver before. The Customer Service rep was stunned that my order hadn't arrived an she told me that my total would be discounted to $24 and put me on hold to contact the 241 Pizza store to find out what the hold up was. When she came back she let me know that they had hired a new driver that wasn't familiar with the area. Right after I got off the phone with her the 241 store closest to me (3155 Eglinton Ave E, Toronto, ON) called asking why I complained on him. I explained that I did not call to complain but to find out what was going on with my order. He then told me that if I pay $24 instead of $45 that he would give me food poisoning and he would not deliver to me again because it would be my last order. He also let me know that he is the owner and had to make 6 pizzas and asked if I knew how to make a pizza and if I would prefer the pizza to be cold or fresh. And it takes 30 minutes to make a pizza. He also kept repeating that my address is far away. His franchise's location is at Markham & Eglinton I'm near Kingston and Lawrence, so clearly that was a lie. I told him that the customer service rep was the one who changed the total and he said that's the agency and not him. As if he owns the brand and is a one man show and 416-241-0241 is a seperate entity. When I got off the phone with him I called customer service to cancel the order and let them know what he said. They told me that they would let head office know and would follow up with me. Then the delivery driver decided to call right after to let me know she was outside I told her that I had already cancelled my order because her boss had threatened to give me food poisoning. So she said she would call him and let him know. She called me back and said that he was only joking. She said he told her I was a regular and he wouldn't do that. Even so why say that I asked? I asked her would you want to eat food from someone who said that to you? She laughed and kept saying he was joking. Then I asked her, was he joking when he said it would be my last order? So beware of ordering from 241 Pizza's Markham & Eglinton location. The owner is terrible at customer service. To him the customer is never right and he may give you food poisoning for whatever reason.
I have never left a review before but i must warn people about this restaurant. I came by Marigold Restaurant on a Thursday night and by far this has been one of my worst restaurant experiences. Upon entering the establishment i could tell it was not a very clean environment. The whole place smelled of urine and had an unbearable smell. The food was being cooked on a stove that doesn't look like it has been cleaned in years. I have never been so uncomfortable entering a restaurant before. There were two men sitting at the bar drinking and they started making vulgar comments to me. When i tried to leave they grabbed my hand and started pulling me. I started screaming and the waiter and the owner that were sitting down didn't do anything but laugh. I was being harassed and assaulted and when i tried to complain, they told me if i couldn't handle the situation I shouldn't of walked inside. I was getting up to leave two other men blocked the door and told me if i needed a lift home, they would drop me for a "special service". I have never felt so disgusted in my entire life. I have only spent around 5 minutes in this place and i can honestly say it is one of the worst places i have been. Please as a women DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, i have already filed two police reports on this restaurant. There are many other Caribbean restaurants in Scarborough that have exceptional food and service.
the food here isn't bad, the the waitress, goes around frowning and never says hello, please or thank you.

a small cup ob bad espresso coffee for $1,50 served by a surly and ignorant owner/waiter.
No wonder the place is usually totally empty.I saw a small cafe with a few tables and chairs
and nobody in the place several times. The owner should take a course in ettiquette and learn
how to speak to people civilly.

Very nice and friendly place to take out your family and not regret it. Words can't explain how amazing the foods are. This is no basic Caribbean Restaurant, the taste of the foods are like no other.
I checked out this bar on my break from work and thought it would be a good idea to suggest it to my friends and co-workers the next time I was looking for a place to hang out. The occasion finally arose yesterday to go out after work. I promptly suggested we go to THIS bar because it was close and seemed to be a decent bar. I dragged my co-workers to the bar, bought everyone drinks and tipped--correction--tipped well. I by accident left my 70.00 umbrella in the bar. Upon realizing that I left it I called right away to have one of the employees look for it before it was stolen. I called repeatedly--finally someone answered. The female employee who answer was SO rude. She flat out refused to look or help--stating she couldn't leave the bar OR ask any of the waiters/waitresses on the floor to look for the umbrella and then hung up on me. I will never suggested this place to anyone ever again nor will I spend another dime there. I guess this is what you get when you go to a low class bar, in a low class neighbourhood, with low class people who work there. Scarborough at its finest ladies and gentlemen. If their employees had a shred of integrity I probably would have been a repeat patron but the attitude that I was met with has just put me off.
We went to Made in China Hot pot (Scarborough) on Saturday July 18. 2015. This location had terrible service. The server's were very rude and kept ignoring when we asked for something. They would walk right pass us during the entire time that we were asking for assistance. When it came to the cheque they charged us a service fee of $8 for 4 people even though we weren't made aware of this prior to the meal. We have been to this restaurant location before and there was never a service charge for four people. But when we asked about it the server said that it was a new thing that started last week. When we asked them if something was wrong due to the looks they were giving us they said it's because they were making sure we didn't need anything. Then we called them about an hour later that's when they said "we don't charge service charge for four people". I'm very disappointed in the service.

I recommend this place for their fast food and service. There Pizza which was succulent with just the right amount of cheese, It was non-greasy and tasty. I found the crust adequate. The toppings generous and interesting. I sampled both the vegetarian and one with Pepperoni. Both were very good.
All excellent quality and delicious. The service was great and it's a nice clean restaurant.
There was just a stabbing tonight. This bar is frequented by thugs. The staff made sure to have them go out after a fight started and more than a dozen Scarborough gangster wanna-bes ended in a stabbing. They were nice enough to let the victim back in after getting stabbed. There are few staff (about 3 girls and 1 guy), and a very old Chinese guy working in the kitchen, who kept getting yelled at by the b****y Chinese girl behind the counter, I felt bad for the old man, and for the stabbing victim. Stay away, it used to be better.
They used to have one bouncer and probably wanted to save money so now everyone comes and goes, including kids with no IDs. The bartender knew it and yelled at them but didn't seem to care much otherwise they just stayed anyway.
Prices range right around what you would expect to pay at any fast food joint however pita pit has a vast selection of toppings sauces and cheese beyond anywhere else! Friendly helpful staff will grill your meat right in front your eyes while you choose all your toppings then they can toast the whole pita in a pita press! The REAL FRUIT smoothies are absolutely amazing especially with added protein! Defiantly give Pita Pit a try!
I live down the street from this Tim's and use the drive thru ALOT! On Friday October 24 2014 I went there purchased a large triple triple over drive thru, paid using the TAP machine - come to look at my statement they charged me $4.08 for a coffee that only costs $1.80.
Kid you not if I wanted to pay starbucks prices I would've went there.
Poor service, plus they didn't even stir my coffee, my large triple triple was bitter.
Do not go there - only if you want to overpay for your goods.
the food is great there there staff is amazing you go there for the leaf game the leafs score the pull on the red light it is like you our at the leaf game there drinks our reasonable I been going there for 14 years and it is never ever the same the do have chef specials for food and it is always excellent
To be honest, I love Popeye's food, it tastes great. But with that said, the service is extremely poor, so poor it makes me need to write this.
I had my phone hung up on me twice and was rejected to make an order for delivery. The lady that answered the phone did not even respectfully reply me and was not letting me finish my sentence in explaining. Here's what happened:
I called at another Popeye's store (416 208 9444) and ordered. Everything was good until 1 hour later they finished making the food and the driver called me and said "Listen to me sir, I am the driver and the person that took your order does not know the distance of where I make deliveries" or something similar. I said "okay, fine give me the number where I can call popeyes then." It sounded extremely disappointing but I let it go so this is where the lady who answered my call comes in.
She answered and I said something similar to: "I called another popeyes to order-" and she said "you already called another popeyes? okay bye" and hung up without waiting another second. I called a second time and I told her, in an angry manner, and she said "okay sir, I cannot take what your saying sir, I cannot service you" and hung up on me the second time.
She should be rated the best-worst server at popeyes I have ever met. What a disgrace to popeye's franchise cause I love the food. The service is just a real, disgrace.
Good job lady cause it takes a lot of annoyance for someone to need to post this. I hope something is done about this. :)
And to the manager that opened this franchise, I apologize but you should try to remanage the place.
We went to this place for the first time Nov 9th 2013, we were a large crowd 25, we arrived at 8pm and we had 2 long tables. the manager knew about 3 weeks ago that we were coming for dinner that night. Upon arrival we were told that they were short a waitress so we only had one waitress for all of us. She took drink orders and they arrived about 10 mins later. Then she came back and took our food order around 8:30, the other table started to get their food around 9:15 but she only brought 2 at a time then would disappear for another 10 mins before she brought another 2. Our table had no food except for one couple who for some reason got there's. My husband complained to the manager and asked for free apetizers he said ok but they never arrived. At 9:40 pm still nothing i asked the waitress how much longer she said 5 mins, and that there was only one chef, how rediculous is that when there were many other tables that ordered food aswell, how can you cope with one chef on a saturday night. At 9:50 nothing came so my husband and I left. Also my husband only ordered a sandwich with fruit salad, there's no way it should of taken that long. We tried to call the manager after we left and a lady who answered the phone said he's too busy and hung up on us. How rude. We will never go back.
Michel baguette is by far one of my favourite places to eat. It has reasonable prices and great food quality. the service is amazing and the place is spotless. I'll go eat there whenever i get the chance; :) the new management made good changes. The previous reviews are all wrong, this place is my favourite fast food ever!
A friend was leaving Toronto. so we planned for a nice dinner Friday night. She found online good reviews for this Thai place in Scarborough so we went to try. I got there a little earlier so I let my 2 ½ year old walk around the restaurant as I didn’t want him outside since the sidewalk was right in the small parking lot it is in. As soon as one friend arrived we tried to sit down to look at menu to order. I put little one in boaster seat but he was reluctant so he was kicking and crying wanting out, then I held him so he'll stop crying. One gentleman who might be one of the owners tried bribing him with a piece of candy which didn't calm him down. The lady working at the front also tried to calm him down. Shortly toddler was still crying so the gentleman told us we "had" to leave since he's not calming down. I asked him if he was serious in kicking us out but he ignored more and went into the kitchen. My friend packed up the boaster seat and we took our things and went outside.
Don't know whatever happened to customer service but this place certainly didn't have any and definitely not a family-friendly restaurant. There were only one other couple there who didn't seem to be bothered by the noise and eating their meal. We left and stood outside that restaurant trying to figure out what to do for dinner. Then our other friend arrived, shocked of what happened.
Never in my life did I feel so disrespected as a patron at a restaurant trying to have a nice meal. I will discourage anyone to go to this place despite good food reviews my friend read and wanted to try. So much for a nice meal and way to send off a good friend. Our evening was ruined by person who treated us in an inhumane and abrupt manner. Thought this kind of scenario you only see in a comedy but it happened to us. We don't wish this to happen to anyone else so again, re-consider this place.
Ive visited this place a number of times. Was quite regular until I started noticing the way the owner treats his staff. Ive seen him make one cry. Ranting and raving. I do believe the man might need medication!! The food is good but I dont wanna go back. He doesnt deserve my money.
I was up the Scarborough location on Lawrence and I have to say I'm very disappointed with the customer service. there was an older of woman who serve me she was very rude to me. I bought a cinnamon tea biscuits and I asked for it hot with double butter. When I got tea biscuit back it was very dry and hard as a rock. Now I bought several of these cinnamon tea biscuits in the past and not once were they hard as a rock. She told me it was MY fault because I asked for it hot. I told her I didn't ask for it hard as a rock. Basically they microwaved it so long that they over cooked it. I asked for them to redo it they refuse so I ask for my money back in they refused. I am sorry when I pay very close to $5.00 for a tea biscuit and a small coffee I should be able to eat it. I also think it is a shame they charge for butter. I am tired of this lady treating people like garbage. She is always mean and cold but that day I reached my limit with her.
I am big fan of pizza hut, from China to Philippines to US, I always ate at Pizza Hut. On May 19, 2013 at 7pm, the Pizza Hut at 592 Ellesmere Rd, Scarborough, it's General Manager was rude to his customers. We came with my family of 2 kids, there was no attendant at the front desk so my kids who were hungry & first time to eat at pizza hut ran inside the restaurant because there were lot's of empty tables. When, we seated, the general manager approached us. At first, we thought he will give us a courtesy greetings, so I smilingly said "Hi!". In my surprise he bluntly told us in front of my family, "Do not just come in and seat. You needed to wait outside to be seated". I was stunned of how inapproriate the behaviour was without any pleasant or at least tell it in a polite manner or with concerned or smiling face. He did not even brought us the menu. He told those words and left. In front of my family, it was rude. My kids were asking why he was so rude. I will still eat at pizza hut but will never come back from this Pizza Hut at 592 Ellesmere Rd, Scarborough.
