I am a previous regular customer, and employee. Two years ago Bridges was arguably the most comfortable, hospitable bar a patron could walk into on the west side of Saskatoon. Ran from top to bottom by the best manager a bar could ever ask for. Their turnover rate was incredibly low with a highly efficient staff. However, in the past 3 months they have let go of 2 GMs (both of which worked countless hours of unpaid overtime), 1 night manager, and several other loyal staff. The bar is now ran by their hot-headed, impulsive son, who cares little about the serious decline in the establishment and more about getting new toys like a $5000 slurpee machine (for a BAR). You could find better management skills from the people you might find in the parking lot breaking into your car. Working on the other side of the bar I can name more than enough things that would stop you from wanting to ever eat there. But if you agree that the public bathroom plunger can be used as a tool to unclog the sink behind the bar, perhaps this is the place for you.
** "The owners are selfish people, and do not care about there patrons" - 20 year customer
** If you choose to go there only order bottles, because no one refills the dish washer fluid, so all your getting is a glass rinsed with cold water. And you can find cleaner ice in a third world country.
** Almost everything in the basement is rotting, so if you're looking to do a steak night I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere!
