I purchased a pretty small portion of Roti Canai for $3.75. It did not taste good. The texture was off- it wasn't chewy and it did not smell appetizing. Instead, the roti tasted very "heavy", and it was flaky, almost as if they used lard in the process of making it. The curry dip for the roti had the consistency of water, and had no flavour. The roti was disgustingly filling.
The service was pretty poor. First of all, she kept on speaking Mandarin to me, and I really do not understand it. I told her, and she seemed really annoyed at me. It took her awhile to make the roti even though there were no customers ahead of me. When I came back to the store to check on my order ( like 10 minutes after), she was VERY annoyed at me, she screamed, "NOT READY!".
And so I will not be coming back to this place, there are a lot of other places in the Market that serves up delicious food with friendly service.
