BBT 4 me

I was in Ditchmond and craving BBT, when I spotted this place nestled in a strip mall. The interior was nicely decorated and clean including the w/c. Service was great and the server/manager had expert knowledge of the product. I was also impressed with the exotic flavours available in addition to the usual suspects. Since I was feeling conservative, I went with a papaya milk tea with coconut jelly. It was tasty, if a little expensive for my taste. Try it for yourself.

Needs more games!

It was 11:20 PM on a Friday night and me and 3 friends had craved bubble tea but most places were closing in Vancouver so we decided to go to Twinkle. I remembered it had games (cards, Monopoly, Poker and that's about it) so we went there because if I was going to drive to richmond I didn't want to get the drink and then leave.

All the bubble teas were good but they are expensive (about $6 for one). I also got the condensed milk on toast and it was pretty good - The bread was really soft so we knew it wasn't old. But my friend got the chicken popcorn ($6) and it didn't have a lot! Felt kinda ripped off.

Hungry at night

I visited this place with a friend who recommends it. Actually, it was one of the few places left open in the area.

We were promptly seated in the corner where the tables are too small for the average sized man. The place is a little dim and small with enough staff for good coverage. However, the staff have very poor communication abilities and I questioned whether or not I was accidentally speaking french. The waitress which served our table did not understand English, Cantonese, OR Mandarin. The menu items leave a lot to your imagination on what it will taste like or look like when it arrives. Good luck trying to ask the staff about the food or drink items.

I ordered a cutlet chicken on rice with japanese curry sauce. It was alright, but nothing special. For less money, I could have went across the street to silver tower for the same meal(with more food) which includes a drink and soup.

My friend ordered a strawberry milk tea, I had a taste and had to immediately give it a FAIL. My other friend had a passion fruit green tea and he said it was good.
