I cannot eat any other pizza after trying Steveston pizza. The crust is thin and perfect just packed with delicious toppings and fresh herbs on top. When phoning in an order, they have the baking time down to the second and are always on time. I am an addict and I truly love this pizza. I want to eat it once a week for the rest of my life, which means I will never leave Steveston. I love the italian, mediterranean, fire, the shrimp and crab. Next I will order the lasagna. Based on the reviews I decided to give this place as try as everybody has been raving that the Steveston Pizza co has the best pizza in town. First of all it is a long drive and is it worth it? I would say if you crave excellent pizza then yes. I tried the Caveman and Italian. The caveman was my favourite as every bite was like biting into a big chunk of meat. The crust is thin but looks like normal crust because of the toppings. I will certainly be back.
My wife and I came across this place last year while walking around Steveston Village. Even the look of this small place on the corner seemed interesting. Further review noticed that the ingredients were of the organic variety.
In a nutshell, this place is excellent. We had the Cavemen, which is a meat lovers type pizza, and the Margarite Two, a cheese based pizza with creamy feta and bocconcini. Both were very yummy. The ingredients mix well together and there was no burning of the crust or soft textures that you can get with more commercialized establishments.
The place is very small, which restricts eating in the place as there only two bar stools facing the window. The service was good as the pizza came out on time that the person behind the counter said it would. The owner seems very nice when I have had the chance to talk to him.
The pizzas are more sophisticated, so if your thing is Gopolous or the Hut, then don't bother. But if you like pizzas that have different and better ingredients, then give this place a try if you are in the area. I believe its only open in the evenings and you cannot purchase by the slice. Also, because of its size, its better to get take out.
Steveston Village was a place I hardly visit for there isn't really that big of an attraction there. But ever since I learned about Steveston Pizza, it has generated enough attraction for me to drive down to Steveston Village atleast once a week for their gourmet pizzas.With their crispy thin crust and high quality ingredients, their pizzas are worth the extra buck. Two large pizzas will put you down for around $45 but the satisfaction from eating those pizzas well exceed that price. On weekdays the wait time is average, but on friday or saturday nights, you might want to call ahead since you might have to wait for atleast a hour until your pizza is ready.
Ever since discovering Steveston Pizza a little over a year ago, I've never gone back to the "mainstream" stuff (pizza hut, dominoes, etc.). This place has so many unique pizzas that you won't find anywhere else. I love the thin, crispy crust. You can tell that the ingredients are quality ingredients. It's in the taste. I have Steveston Pizza for dinner at least once a week now. Just give it a try and you'll be hooked!
For a small town, with many restaurants, and few restaurants with gooooood food, Steveston Pizza Co is surely a good find.
The pizza is unique, the extras, salads, crusts etc are great, and the taste is new...

Steveston Pizza consistently makes great pies with fresh toppings and really different combinations. Our favorite is the Westcoaster toppped with freshly smoked salmon. Their menu changes seasonally and their service is prompt. When they are busy, they will let you know so you don't have to wait around. It is takeout only and they have a good website as well. Their pizza crust is thin and crisp and the toppings are quite flavorful instead of being heavy or greasy. I would really recommend that you give their pizza a try. We have ordered from them on a regular basis since they opened last year and we have never been disappointed.
We live in Steveston and decided to give this place a shot other than Panago. We looked at the menu online and discovered that it was tad bit pricey. We decided to order their medium Italian with mushrooms instead of olives. The pizza was made on a thin crust and all the ingridients were really fresh. They even topped the pizza with fresh basil. Notwithstanding, all the toppings were very generous and the cheese looked fresh as well.....Excellent value and it's our neighborhood favourite.
Third time, the first I had the salmon, a little disappoited with the quantity of salmon on the pizza, it was a very little ball in the middle, second time I had the caveman - really enjoyed that - very good, and last week we tried a the red and black, it was OK, both overcooked with cheese almost black, maybe that's why they call it black. I'm finding the ratings a little to high here, incredible and outstanding no, not quite there yet, but they very good.
I had been reading such good things about this pizza place that I just had to try it. I have driven to this place from Marpole (20 minutes each way will my lead foot) on three occasions in the last month or so. This is definitely something out of the ordinary from the average pizza joint. The Japanese and the West Coast are fabulous. I have also tried the Italian and the Caveman, which are both a little on the salty side but given that those pizzas are mostly meat toppings, it is expected -- but they are both good still. Crust is light and good amount of toppings. I am sure that the pizzas would taste even better if eaten shortly after it comes out of the oven.
Wow. Nothing else you can really say except wow. The best pizza. I have not had a bad one. From the most basic to the most complex. Organic veggies, hand made crust. I would go almost anywhere just to pick it up. I am very happy I live somewhat close. Will be eating here for a very long time. To bad you can't sit down there but hey my couch is great to. Thanks guys keep up the great work.
The pizza is great. but I find the servings small. The topping combinations are unusual and creative. Many of them that I like alot. For example: The Caramelized duck confit, bocconcini, enoki mushroom, chive and tomato relish pizza.
Regardless, the pizza is relatively expensive so not sure its worth the value. For me its a treat to have once in a while.
This is the best pizza in Richmond...if not the Lower Mainland. If you are someone who enjoys thick greasy pizza with layers of toppings - then do you yourself a favor and don't go. This is not the place for you. If you enjoy really great tasting food then do try it.
The guy (owner) making the pizza's isn't some schlep throwing toppings on his pizza. He's given his menu a lot of thought and really has come up with some great combinations. He has even recently revamped the menu with some really crazy gourmet pizza's, which I have yet to try , but will definitely try next time I go.
In this crazy season of Christmas when you're just dying to go on vacation to reverse the damage done by the stresses of this most wonderful time of year and the cold, lift up your spirits by ordering an Orange pizza from this little place in the middle of nowhere.
I just received their new menu in the mail and was hoping that there would be some new items to tantalize my tastebuds. My hopes were rewarded with the new "Shades" section on the menu where the pizzas are the colour opposites to the pizzas in the "Colours" section. As I read the descriptions, the Orange pizza caught my eye: honey-glazed yams, pineappple, spinach, feta and saffron cream sauce. I marveled at the idea of yams and saffron on pizza, but was hesitant about the combo of the sweet ingredients with feta which I normally associate with Greek Salad. My curiosity won over my doubt and I am happy to say that I would have been a fool if I'd turned this pizza down.
Have you ever had that feeling of utter bliss? It's starts inside, like deep down in your soul and gradually works its way up until you feel yourself smiling and a laugh of pure joy escapes you? Crazy, I am not for saying that that is exactly what happened when I tasted this pizza! It lives up to its name; orange is the colour of fun, delight, happiness, high spirits and enthusiasm. This pizza makes you feel that way.
So if you're feeling like you need a pick-me-up, treat yourself to an Orange. For vegetarians or veggie lovers, this will definitely please. Even for those who are more inclined to eat meat, this pizza fills you up.

studied all day with a buddy for finals. just finished my last paper and submitted--late. feeling pretty beat. buddy of mine suggested we grab a slice and heard this place was good. i was starving and didn't want to drive out but glad we did because it was well worth the trek. we had the caveman and it hit the spot. fully loaded with lots of meat and cheese. i dug in as soon as we got in the car-couldn't wait. think i can make it through another late night of studying.
What Pizza should be. In a world of two for one pizza shops on every corner Steveston Pizza Co. is a breath of fresh air. The pizzas are creative and fresh. We now make it a Friday deal that one of us picks up a couple Pizzas from Steveston. Well worth the drive even if it's take out only.
Don't expect a plain old ham and pineapple or pepperoni because they are far more than that. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.
I’ve been getting pizzas from Stevenson pizza for just over a year and it is the best pizza I have ever had. The ingredients are always fresh and the pizzas are loaded with toppings. I think for you what you get the prices are fair, a bit more expensive than most places but the pizzas are far superior. I’m impressed with the calibre of the menu for a little place like this, and I enjoy the new pizzas that are put on the menu from time to time. The pizzas are always consistently good. Sometimes you can wait up to an hour but it is well worth it I think. My all time favourite is the Mediterranean, it is a vegetarian but trust me you won’t miss the meat.
I decided to go to Steveston Pizza Co. with my parents after I heard some good comments on this place. Since I heard all their pizzas were thin crusts, I expected them to be CRISPY.
When I saw the reviews on SPC, I didn't know there were only 3 chairs to sit on. It's really MEANT for take-out so if you ever decide to go, don't look for tables.
The wait wasn't too long, 15 - 20 minutes. We ordered the Blue and Caveman mediums and had our slices in the car.
Maybe it was because it was HOT out of the oven but the crusts were awfully soggy. There was way too much topping of meat and cheese. The pizza almost seemed desperate. The Blue was better out of two but of course, if you are the type who has a distaste for smelly cheeses, Blue is not for you. Caveman was ok, just your ordinary meat and cheese pizza.
The staff were very friendly but it wasn't exactly a sit-and-dine place so not much to comment on the service.
There were lots of people coming in and out. I guess it's well-known with the locals. However, I wouldn't really go back. It's not much different than Panago or Camy's.
Prepare to be blown away! Their pizzas are absolutely inspired, with creative combinations and ingredients that you can't find anywhere else. My personal favorites include the Water (stuffed full of shrimp and crab meat) and Red (marinated bison meat, enoki mushrooms, red wine, all yummy), but I feel confident that all their pizzas are great (with the exception of Mexican, which was a bit too ordinary.)
There is minimal seating inside, so just head down to the waterfront or Garry Point Park with your meal. The people behind the counter are polite and courteous; just don't be late in picking up your pizza (their time estimates are uncannily accurate)!
Highly recommended - it doesn't get any better than this.
I absolutly love this cute little place, it is great to go a few minuets early to watch the pizza making process. I have to disagree with the reviewer below about the pizzas being doughy, the pizzas I have ordered have always been the perfect consistency in texture and flavour. My all time favourite is the mediterranean, which I think I'm addicted to! My husband on the other hand is in love with the caveman, its too bad they no longer make half and half pizzas.
